Sibley: Dynamic Soaring site located in the San Francisco Bay Area.  Mostly used with South Easterly winds just in front of winter storms.  This is a site you can expect 50+ mph winds a couple of times a year.  This site has provided 191 mph speeds in 2004.

Directions to Robert Sibley Volcanic Regional Preserve: Get to Hwy 24 between Oakland and Walnut Creek Take the Fish Ranch Road Exit and get onto the South side of the Freeway. Get onto Old Tunnel Rd Left on Grizzly Peak Blvd. Left on Skyline Blvd.  Park is on left side of road.

Start down the path on the right side of the parking lot.

Take the path to the right at the "Y"

There will be a single track going off to the right as the path swings left.  Take the single track.

Keep on the main trail (left), the site is just ahead.
